Tanda (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa)
Tanda is a small and charming village in the Mansehra District of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It has many natural features, with forest-covered mountains, cultivated farmland, various trees, and a beautiful view of the scenery throughout the 3 connecting valleys of Siran, Konsh, & Baffa, as well as the Siran River. Lavishly grown Lacewood (Chinar) Trees & the Siran River connecting with a tributary, create the north & western boundaries of the Village, crossable by bridge. It is located at at an elevation of 1037 metres (3405 feet).〔(Location of Tanda - Falling Rain Genomics, Inc )〕 It is also the administrative centre of Tanda Union Council a subdivision of Mansehra Tehsil.〔(Tehsils & Unions in the District of Mansehra - Government of Pakistan )〕
. A majority of the people are from the Swati Pakhtoon tribe, and Pashto is spoken throughout the town. It is located across from the town of Shinkiari.
